Programming and financial mathematics are your passion. You can use your distinct capability for abstract thinking and your mathematical skills for us in two ways: on the one hand, you support the team with the designing of our software product in the area of actuarial inventory management, on the other hand, you provide our customers with advice regarding demanding actuarial questions.


Your tasks

  • You take over responsibility and management of projects for the implementation of actuarial policy management products for our customers
  • You analyze, evaluate and optimize the system landscapes, processes as well as affiliated operational applications within product implementation
  • You create both customized and standardized technical concepts and optimizes solutions for the creation, enhancement and integration of actuarial and administrative system solutions
  • You develop actuarial and insurance-related concepts with our customers while designing insurance products and their actuarial questions
  • You create appropriate test concepts together with our customers and support them during the performance of tests
  • You ensure the actuarial quality of inventories
  • You provide consultation during the planning and managing of affiliated migration projects, which includes the definition and coordination of project targets, estimation of feasibility and expenses as well as development of solutions regarding technical and professional risks
  • With your knowledge of market trends and needs, you support our sales activities by helping to design workshops for our customers (including cost estimates for creating offers)

Your profile

  • You have a degree in mathematics, actuarial mathematics, economic mathematics or a comparable degree with (actuarial) mathematic focus
  • Training to be an actuary (DAV) is desired
  • You have comprehensive technical expertise in the described area of responsibility and have experience in the area of health insurance mathematics
  • You already have a track record in actuarial software development
  • Understanding object-oriented programming is required and ideally, you already have experience with Java
  • You are interested in topics and trends in the insurance industry
  • You are distinguished by structured thinking, organization skills, creativity and excellent methodical skills
  • Confidence, good communication skills and high social skills are required
  • You are no stranger to team orientation as well as an independent working method and commitment
  • You offer spatial flexibility to complete customer projects on-site
  • You have very good German language skills
