IT-savvy mathematician with insurance skills

 

Programming and financial mathematics are your favorite topics. You use your distinct ability to think abstractly and your mathematical skills in two ways: On one hand, you support the team in modeling our software product in the area of actuarial portfolio management, and on the other, you advise our customers on demanding actuarial questions.

 

Your tasks

  • You will support our customers in projects in introducing products for insurance portfolio management
  • We help you develop into an expert for system landscapes and the processes, as well as the corresponding operative applications within the scope of the product launch
  • You will support us in the development of customized and standardized technical concepts
  • You will be able to optimize solution scenarios for the creation, expansion, and integration of actuarial and administrative system solutions
  • You support the test execution and the corresponding migration project

Your profile

  • You have a degree in mathematics, actuarial mathematics, business mathematics or a comparable education with a(n) (insurance) mathematical focus
  • Training as an actuary (DAV) is desirable
  • You already have experience in the field of health insurance mathematics and ideally have knowledge of the area of responsibility described
  • You already have the first points of contact with actuarial software development
  • An understanding of object-oriented programming is required, and ideally you already have experience with Java
  • With your focus on results and solutions, you have no problem understanding and processing complex issues due to your excellent analytical skills
  • You are characterized by structured thinking, organizational skills, creativity, and excellent methodological competence
  • A confident demeanor, good communication skills, and strong social skills are required
  • Team orientation as well as an independent way of working and commitment are not foreign to you
  • You bring spatial flexibility to perceive customer projects on site
  • You have very good German language skills
